Paul Marsh is a highly experienced 4×4 expedition consultant and overlanding specialist with over 35 years of experience in vehicle preparation, expedition planning, and adventure travel. His career spans mechanical engineering, entrepreneurship, and guiding some of the most challenging overland journeys globally.
Paul has undertaken numerous remarkable expeditions, including an 18-month, 70,000 km journey through Africa from Cape Town to Eritrea and back in a self-built Toyota Hilux in the 1980s. He has participated in Camel Trophy competitions, supported major events like the Nordkapp Arctic Winter Rally, and contributed to expeditions across every continent, from Siberia (-60°C) to the Taklamakan Desert (+60°C).
His philosophy emphasizes simplicity and practicality, advocating for less complexity in vehicle builds to ensure user safety and ease of use. Paul works closely with clients via Skype, WhatsApp, or in-person consultations to understand their experience level, goals, and needs before designing a vehicle or planning an itinerary.
